The Panama College of Cell Science offers early admission and advance placement for high school graduates and homeschoolers. We offer a combined Bachelor Degree-Doctoral Degree program that can be completed in 5 years, with 2 years allocated to the undergraduate portion of the curriculum…and 3 years allocated to our usual 3 year online PhD part of the curriculum.
Graduate in 5 years with a doctoral degree in Hot Biology…that’s right…the new biology that is Stem Cell Science. Graduate with a PhD in a little over the same time other students complete their undergraduate studies.
Admission Requirements for the Panama College of Cell Science 5 year Ph.D. in Stem Cell Biology:
High School Graduates: Must present with a Diploma from a US high school or foreign equivalent. Must be at least 16 years of age. GED Certificate also accepted as meeting the admission requirements. The GED or High School Equivalency Certificate shows that you have a level of knowledge equivalent to a high school graduate. GED stands for General Education Development or General Education Diploma. The GED is an internationally recognized test and can be taken in many foreign countries as well as the US. High School Students at least 16 years of age, who have not completed high school may be considered for admission on a case by case basis. Such students must show a high level of science based education and interest. Homeschoolers. Must be at least 16 years of age and be able to detail, either by paperwork or by essay and supporting materials that they have reached the equivalent of a high school education. Home school transcripts are appreciated but not necessary. A home school diploma is appreciated but not necessary. What we are looking for is that you can demonstrate competence and interest in the life sciences.
